James was born in Caerphilly, South Wales. He lived throughout Southern Wales while his parents managed Pubs for much of his childhood.  From a young age James always enjoyed films and would regularly rent movies to fill his weekends. James attended a Welsh speaking school where his love for the creative arts guided him straight into Drama class and school productions. The passion was clearly marked throughout his schooling. In his final year at Ysgol Gyfun Gwynllyw James auditioned and was cast in a new TV Drama and his career path was set. In September 2009 James moved to London where he found success with many national commercials and another TV Drama. 

James is now based back in London and is represented by, Regan and Rimmer. He is currently building his Personal Training Business from the heart of London itself, Piccadilly Circus, all the while pursuing his dream of becoming and actor.
